MARCH 17, 2012 - Fishing the lower Susquehanna river produced a variety of fish. River water temp was in the low 50's, lots of Striped Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Suckers, Blue Cats, Flatheads, and Channel Cats. If the weather holds out, the water should warm up and get a lot better.

JANUARY 28, 2012 - Quite a breezy day, winds SSW @15-20. Water temp 38 degrees. Warm water temp 62 degrees. The bite was slow. Caught a few flatheads 2-20 lbs, Bass were on vacation.

NOVEMBER 4TH, 5TH, 6TH 2011 - FISHING IN THE SUSQUEHANNA RIVER IS FINALLY PICKING UP. LOTS OF SMALLMOUTH BASS, STRIPED BASS, HYBRID BASS, CATFISH AND WALLEYE. ALL NICE SIZE. WATER TEMP 47 DEGREES AND CRYSTAL CLEAR. GIVE US A CALL TO GET IN ON THE ACTION!

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 17 2011 - FISHING BELOW HOLTWOOD DAM WAS VERY GOOD, THE WATER TEMP WAS 66 DEGREES IN THE MAIN RIVER , CAUGHT PLENTY OF NICE CHANNEL CATFISH AND FLATHEAD CATFISH. ALL WEIGHING IN AT 8-20 POUNDS. ALSO A FEW NICE CARP. CUSTOMERS HAD A GREAT TIME. ALSO CAUGHT A FEW CHANNEL AND FLATHEADS THAT WERE 2-4 INCHES. ONCE THE WATER CLEARS UP THE BASS ACTION SHOULD GET BETTER. LOOKING FORWARD TO FALL AND WINTER.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 10 2011 - FISIHNG WAS TERRIBLE, THE RIVER WAS RUNNING 20-30 FEET HIGHER THAN NORMAL AND LEE WRECKED ALMOST ALL OF THE BOAT ACCESS AREAS. NO PICS OF MUDDY CREEK ACCESS, BUT IT WAS ALL BUT WASHED AWAY, INCLUDING THE BIG PARKING LOT. HERE ARE SOME LANCASTER COUNTY PICS:

AUGUST 27TH 2011 - FISHING AT SAFE HARBOR THE DAY HURRICANE IRENE WAS TO HIT LANCASTER PA. WAS QUITE CALM AND THE WATER TEMP WAS 78 DEGREES AND THE BITE WAS SLOW, CAUGHT A FEW FLATHEAD CATFISH AND A FEW SMALLER CHANNEL CATFISH.

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AUGUST 5TH AND 6TH, 2011 - FISHING IN PEQUEA WAS PRETTY GOOD. CAUGHT SOME NICE BASS AND CHANNEL CATFISH. WATER TEMP WAS 82 DEGREES AND CLEAR. SOME OF THE FISH WERE IN THE 7-10 POUND RANGE.

FRIDAY JULY 15, 2011 - FISHING BELOW HOLTWOOD DAM .WATER TEMP WAS 84 DEGREES, CLEAR SKYS AND FULL MOON. CAUGHT A FEW FLATHEAD CATFISH AND CHANNEL CATFISH. TRYED FOR LARGE MOUTH BASS AND SMALL MOUTH BASS WITH LIVE BAIT AND ALSO TROLLING, BUT HAD NO LUCK. DUE TO THE ROCK BLASTING AT THE DAM IT WAS REAL TOUGH FISHING. THE GROUND WAS SHAKING PRETTY GOOD

SUNDAY JUNE 19, 2011 - FISHING INT THE HOLTWOOD TAILRACE AND MUDDY RUN DISCHARGE WAS QUITE PRODUCTIVE FOR SMALL MOUTH BASS, WALLEYE, AND SPAWNING CHANNEL CATFISH. WATER IS STARTING TO CLEAR UP NICELY AND THE WATER TEMP WAS 74.3 DEGREES ON THE SURFACE. FLATHEAD CAFISH SHOULD SOON BE PICKING UP IN THE EVENINGS. FISHING IS IMPROVING, CONSIDERING ALL THE FLOOD WATER AND HIGH TEMPS. PEQUEA HAS OPENED THE BOAT RAMP ON 6/12/11 SO WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO FISHING THAT AREA. I QUESS THAT IT WILL BE PRETTY MUDDY FROM SATURDAYS DELUGE OF RAIN.

BASS WERE IN ABOUT 10 FT OF WATER, WARM WATER DISCHARGE WAS A SLOW BITE. LOOKS LIKE THE BIG ONES ARE MOVING OUT INTO THE RIVER.

SUNDAY APRIL 10, 2011 - TOOK A TRIP TO MEMORIAL LAKE AND CAUGHT A FEW NICE CRAPPIE BASS AND SOME BLUE GILL AND SUNFISH. WATER TEMP WAS 50 DEGREES AND IT WAS CLOUDY. HAD A GREAT TIME.

LOTS OF 25 POUND PLUS FLATHEADS, A FEW CARP, AND SOME NICE CHANNEL CATS IN THE 5-10 POUND RANGE. ALSO A FEW SMALL HYBRID STRIPERS. AS THE WATER WARMS UP IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS WALLEYE AND SMALLMOUTH BASS SHOULD BE MOVING AROUND.

MARCH 04, 2011 - Fishing in the warm water discharge at the Peach Bottom power plant was very productive on Friday. Caught quite a variety of fish. The biggest one was 14 lbs. Water was very high and stained. Had a falling barometer and a stiff 20 mph wind from the south east. Really rough. But the customers had a great time.

FEBRUARY 13, 2011 - FIRST TRIP OF THIS YEAR TO THE LOWER SUSQUEHANNA RIVER WAS VERY PRODUCTIVE. NICE HYBRID STRIPED BASS, RANGING FROM 18" TO 25" , FROM NOON ON.
